Other cold-storage model details
- 12FT Refrigerated TrailerBXRT12–1 and BXRT12–2 list 220V · single-phase · 40–60A and a 32°F inventory label. Both are named as 12ft models, but their records also mention 20ft, so your quote confirms the length.
- 20FT Refrigerated ContainerYour quote confirms this container’s power, temperature and storage space for your project.
- 40FT Refrigerated ContainerYour quote confirms this container’s power, temperature and storage space for your project.
Equipment records reviewed October 19, 2026. Temperature labels are inventory labels, not verified operating ranges. Nominal length is a model label, not a measure of usable space or site footprint.
Review the temporary store at each refurbishment transition
The facilities coordinator needs to know which ingredient route and supply arrangement remain usable when the next refurbishment phase begins. Stock quantity may stay unchanged while a contractor takes over the original receiving approach. Keep the current movement instruction with the operating team and identify who can approve a revised route or connection. The first temporary position should not be treated as approval for every later phase.
Compare a named trailer with the container arrangement
MT1 in the 20FT Refrigerated Trailer guide lists a condensing unit, amps panel and lighting, with a 15°F inventory label. Its complete operating range and suitability for the actual products remain unconfirmed; the label is not a common holding condition for every ingredient.
A refrigerated container offers nominal 20ft and 40ft alternatives whose usable capacity, temperature capabilities and power still need confirmation. Compare the offered refrigeration trailer or container with the packaged ingredients, staff retrievals and access available in each phase, including the fullest overlap of incoming supplies.

Coordinate a rental for government food-service facilities
In a Bakersfield government dining inquiry or a separate Arizona facility proposal, the meal service contact may differ from the person authorizing the purchase. Include the supplier timetable and ingredient movements so the agency's review considers daily food-service activity alongside the proposed rental dates.
Check phase as well as amperage at each services handover
MT1 lists 220V single-phase at 40–60A, while P1 lists 220V single-phase at 200A. DTC3 lists 220V three-phase at 200A. Equal voltage or amperage does not establish an interchangeable supply. The responsible site professional needs the selected units’ electrical requirements and exact connection details and any access or working-hour restrictions affecting service preparation. Recheck the arrangement when the refurbishment boundary changes.
Keep collection access in the plan
A project can change a site substantially between equipment arrival and collection. Describe the expected works sequence, including barriers, parked materials or temporary layouts that could affect the route later. Identify who will keep the access information current and who can approve changes when contractors are present. Ask the rental contact what details are needed for both movements and how collection should be requested. This is especially useful when the initial position is selected before the construction program is final. Keep arrival and collection access information together, and give the team a current version when the project moves into its next stage.

Build a practical load description
Prepare a short stock description that another person can understand without visiting the existing store. Include the main product groups, the largest package, the anticipated maximum load and the frequency of replenishment. Where stock must stay identifiable by order, batch or department, explain that requirement. A photograph or simple plan may help the discussion, but it should accompany measurements and a written brief. Ask what further information is needed to compare a refrigerated container or trailer with the work ahead. Use the written brief to compare the proposed unit with your packaging, stock movement and staff access needs.
Treat specialist products as a separate review
Some commercial inventories come with handling instructions that require a more detailed equipment discussion. Give the responsible product or quality contact an opportunity to explain those requirements, including any separation, recording or access procedures. Request unit information that your quality contact can compare with the products’ specified storage and handling requirements. If different stock groups have conflicting needs, say so clearly and request a review of the arrangement. Keep your own acceptance criteria and decision process documented. Use the discussion to create a current record of the stock requirements, equipment information and decisions your responsible contacts need to make.
Assign preparation and warewashing their own work areas
P1 in the 26FT Mobile Kitchen Trailer guide lists a prep table, sinks, reach-in refrigerator/freezer and water heater. Its published list does not document cooking appliances. If ingredient preparation moves, assign that work separately from the reserve refrigeration and from any cooking requirement.
DTC3 in the 30FT Conveyor Dishwashing Trailer guide lists a high-temperature conveyor dishwasher, soil tray, prep table, racks and sinks. The responsible team needs a route for returned items and a clean-item destination that remain distinct from ingredient receiving. Keep the selected equipment’s instructions and decision owners current when project staff change.
Make the return to permanent storage explicit
A rental inquiry should explain what must happen before temporary refrigeration is no longer needed. The permanent store may require a separate handover, equipment review or stock-transfer decision by your own team. Identify who makes that decision and how it will be communicated to the rental contact. Ask about collection notice and any term that applies if the program changes. Keep incoming orders and stock movement in the same schedule so the final working day fits the operation’s return to permanent storage. Confirm the final rental and collection arrangements when the operation can give a reliable update on its requirements.
Review the current phase and collection scope in one quote
Request current availability and a quote covering the offered equipment, rental period, delivery and collection. Keep unresolved measurements, product requirements and site-service questions visible beside it. A later refurbishment stage may alter the route or period even when the stored quantity stays the same.

Make the next refurbishment phase a separate decision
A phased refurbishment can change the operating plan even when the stock quantity stays the same. In this example, the facilities coordinator can mark the point when a contractor takes possession of the original receiving approach. Connect that milestone to a review of the ingredient route and any information still needed for the temporary store, rather than waiting until staff find the familiar route closed.
Give the next phase its own short readiness record: the work boundary has been explained, the proposed staff movement has been reviewed by the site contact and unresolved equipment questions have an owner. If a milestone moves, identify which of those decisions must be revisited. That creates a checkable transition between phases without implying that an early site discussion approves every later arrangement.
